In spring cut roses

Spring is the perfect time to prepare the roses for the summer. Now the foundation for healthy plant development is laid. Through the intersection to reach a breezy and relaxed growth of roses and thus reduces the risk of infestation by fungi.

Old, dead and inward-growing wood must be cut out. Also be removed from all roses wild shoots. Wild instincts are called branches that sprout below the graft union at the root collar and make the precious places competition.

Wild roses and shrub roses are blooming again not cut back each year because it only on the perennial wooden flowers produce and therefore need the older branches to grow luxuriantly. Thus, only one or two old shoots removed at the bottom to achieve a taper. Leaving the sub-section, it comes to premature aging of the stick.
